About Me

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!   I am a fourth grade teacher in Massachusetts, in a town outside of Boston.  I live with my husband, who is my best friend.  We've been together since high school!  We are hoping to add a puppy to our family soon.

I love my school and my job!  I couldn't imagine doing anything else.  I've been a teacher for the last nine years.  I started out in a Catholic school, where I taught first grade for two years.  Then I moved to a public school, where I taught first and then second grade.  After a short move to NC that didn't work out.  I was able to get back into the same town, but work at a different school.  The Title I year was great, because I am was able to focus on getting my Masters.  The next year, I worked as a second grade teacher at the school, and completed my Masters program.  I ended up being the swing person (again), so I moved on to third and then to fourth!  For the last two years, I've been teaching fourth grade.  I’m looking forward to another year in fourth.  It is a great grade, and it feels like home to me!

Thanks for joining me on this crazy adventure!
